Halo 3: Complete Achievement Walk Through

Hear Is How to unlock all Achievements for "Halo 3". This section will be divided into three different parts, achievements unlocked by doing the campaign, achievements unlocked in multiplayer, and achievements unlocked in both. Call it a cheat sheet/walk-through for unlocking the achievements as fast as possible, so not only will you find what you need to do to unlock them, but I will personally leave hints/tips to help you as you try to unlocked them. Achievements Unlocked in Campaign

Campaign Complete: Normal, Finish Campaign on Normal.
Campaign Complete: Heroic, Finish Campaign on Heroic.
Campaign Complete: Legendary, Finish Campaign on Legendary.
Hint: If you beat the game on Legendary difficulty first before beating the Campaign on Normal or Heroic, you will unlock all three "Campaign Complete" achievements, plus in the process you will unlock the achievements for finishing all the missions.

Mission Completion Achievements
Hint: Be sure to play Campaign on Legendary difficulty first to insure the fastest way to unlock these achievements.

Landfall, Finish the first mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Holdout, Finish the second mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Road, Finish the first third of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Assault, Finish the fourth mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Cleansing, Finish the fifth mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Refuge, Finish the sixth mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Last Stand, Finish the seventh mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
The Key, Finish the eighth mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
Return, Finish the ninth mission of the Campaign on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.

Hint, There are only three levels that have terminals in them. 3 in mission 6, 3 in mission 7, and 1 in mission 9.

Meta Game Achievements
Hint, Once you find all the gold skulls, you can turn them on to help multiply your score, allowing you to play the levels on say normal difficulty, and still allow you to get enough points to unlock the achievement. Be sure to kill enough enemies to ensure that you have enough points to unlock the Achievements.

Guerrilla, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the first mission.
Demon, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the second mission.
Cavalier, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the third mission.
Askar, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the fourth mission.
Exterminator, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the fifth mission.
Ranger, Score over 50,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the sixth mission.
Vanguard, Score over 50,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the seventh mission.
Orpheus, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the eighth mission.
Reclaimer, Score over 15,000 points in the Campaign meta-game on the final mission.

Multiplayer Achievements
Multiplayer achievements are unlocked in Online multiplayer game play unless otherwise noted. Achievements in "()" are ones you can't complete until the rest of the Mythic map pack is released.

Graduate, Earn 5 EXP or finish 10 games to complete the requirements for basic training.
UNSC Spartan, Earn your Sergeant rating to be recognized as a true Spartan
Spartan Officer, Advance to the Spartan Officer ranks (On this achievement it didn't give me it until I was a major rank weird fluke, but you should get it at lieutenant rank.)

Two For One, Score a double kill with a single spartan laser shot in a ranked free for all playlist. (This is one of the hardest, your best bet is to get it while your still low in the rankings of lone wolf.)
Triple Kill, Kill 3 enemies within 4 seconds of one another in a ranked free for all playlist.
Overkill, Kill 4 enemies within 4 seconds of one another in a ranked free for all playlist.
Lee R Wilson Memorial, Score 5 grenade sticks in any ranked free for all playlist.
Killing Frenzy, Kill 10 enemies without dying in any ranked free for all playlist.
Steppin' Razor, Score a triple kill with the sword in a ranked free for all playlist. (Lone wolf swords is the only way to get this one)
Mongoose Mowdown, Splatter an enemy with the mongoose in a ranked free for all playlist. (Another tough one only for lone wolf, the best way to get this one, is to find someone kind enough to help you, or you can try your luck the hard way.)
Up Close and Personal, Kill 5 enemies by melee or assassination in a ranked free for all playlist.
MVP, Earn the MVP by scoring the most points in any ranked playlist.
Maybe Next Time Buddy, Board the same vehicle within 10 seconds after being boarded in any free for all playlist. (Sign in a guest with you, then play rumble pit free for all, have the guest hop in a vehicle, you can just board it.
Hammer Time, On Assembly, get 5 hammer kills in any ranked or social match.
Post Mortom, On Orbital, get 2 Death from the grave medals during any ranked or social match. (Use grenades, preferably plasma.)
Get the Horns, On a Mythic map, get a bulltrue medal during any ranked or social match.
Awww, Too Bad, On a Mythic map, get a killjoy medal during any ranked or social match.
Killtacular, On a Mythic map, get a killtacular during any ranked or social match. (Right place, right time.)
Have Fun Respawning, On a Mythic map, get an extermination during any ranked or social match.
Save This Film, On a Mythic map, get a perfection medal during any ranked or social match.
(Delicious Brains), On a Mythic map, infect 2 humans during any ranked or social match.
(Zombie Repeller), Mythic map, kill 2 zombies during any ranked or social match.
Tank Dropper, On any Mythic map, get a kill on another player while in monitor mode. (Do this one in forge, Drop a tank on someone.)
Road Rage, On a Legendary map, get 5 chain gun chaingun kills during any ranked or social match.
Flag Dropped, On a Legendary map, get 2 flag carrier kills during any ranked or social match.
Alas, Poor Yorick, On a Legendary map, get 3 oddball melee kills during any ranked or social match. (Try the double EXP weekend multi team oddball playlist, on Ghostown.)
Double, Double, On a Legendary map, get two double kills during any ranked or social match.
Look Both Ways, On a Legendary map, get a splatter spree during any ranked or social match. (Try Seven on the Seventh playlist, because its always Avalanche, a good level to try for most Legendary achievements.)
Defend This, On a Legendary map, get a flag melee kill during any ranked or social match.
Come From Behind, On a Legendary map, get 3 assassinations during any ranked or social match.
(Pull, On Citadel), get a shotgun spree during any ranked or social match.
(Blades of Fury), On Heretic, get a sword spree during any ranked or social match.
(Ghost Patrol), On Longshore, get 3 kills with a Ghost during any ranked or social match.
(Citadel Skull), On Citadel, find the hidden skull. (Do a search with the youtube gadget on this site for "Citadel Hidden Skull")

Vidmaster Challenge, Complete Halo on 4-player Legendary LIVE Co-op, with Iron, and everyone in Ghosts. (Use the youtube gadget on this site, and search for "vidmaster challenge 4 player co-op ghost locations".)
Vidmaster Challenge, Enter into any ranked or social playlist with 7 EXP on the 7th of the month. (Play the Seven on the Seventh playlist and earn 7 EXP in that playlist.)
Vidmaster Challenge, Get to the rank of Lieutenant in any playlist in the new EXP progression system. (Not only do you have your main rank, but you also have a rank in every type of playlist. In other words lets say you are a Captain Rank, and you have 50 EXP in lone wolf, for the lone wolf playlist you will be a Lieutenant rank, but at the same time your still a Captain, Savvy.)
(Vidmaster Challenge), Find all the hidden skulls on the mythic maps.

Achievements Able to be Unlocked In Both
These achievements can be unlocked in Multiplayer or Campaign.

Too Close to the Sun, Destroy an enemy Banshee with the Spartan Laser or Missile pod in a ranked playlist or in campaign. (In mission 7 you can get this one right before you leave the beach, as if you were headed toward tower one. Or instead when you first get the hornet, fly to where all the banshees are and land somewhere, then try for it.)
We're in for some Chop, Destroy an enemy vehicle with an equipment in a ranked playlist or in campaign.
Fear the Pink Mist, Kill 5 enemies with the needler in a ranked free for all playlist or in campaign. (Easily gotten in mission 1, just find a needler, and have fun.)
Headshot Honcho, Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a ranked free for all playlist or in campaign. (Mission 6 starts you out with a sniper, so this mission gets you it the quickest. But you could get in any mission with a sniper.)
Used Car Salesman, Destroy a vehicle that has three or more enemies in it in a ranked playlist or in campaign. (In mission 6 when you first come across the crashed pelican, 2 brute vehicles both carrying 3 people will come driving from where you need to go, try for it then.)
